Recently, 19 programs of the National Social Science Fund of QFNU in 2019 have been approved, which set a new record. The total number of programs in 2019 ranked 70th among the national universities, 19th among the national normal universities and 4th among Shandong provincial universities. Compared with that in 2018, the number of programs and funds in 2019 increased by 18.8% and 23.4% respectively.

In addition, the 2019-year programs of the 13th Five-Year Plan for National Education Science have been officially announced. QFNU was approved 5 programs, of which 4 were from the state and 1 was a youth program from the Ministry of Education. The total number of programs in 2019 ranked 14th among the national universities, 8th among the national normal universities and first among Shandong universities for five consecutive years.
