Recently, the higher education evaluation professional organization Soft Science officially released the 2023 "Soft Science Ranking of Chinese Universities". Qufu Normal University currently has a total of 70 enrollment majors, of which 68 majors are listed, with 10 A--rated majors, 37 B+--rated majors, and 21 B--rated majors. A--rated majors include preschool education, primary education, physical education, leisure sports, English, Business English, applied statistics, network engineering, aviation service art and management, and calligraphy.

In recent years, QFNU has focused on high-quality development goals, strengthened professional connotation construction, continuously adjusted professional structure, optimized professional layout, and significantly improved the level of professional construction and continuously improved the quality of talent cultivation. At present,QFNU has 28 national first-class undergraduate major construction points, ranking fourth among provincial universities, 16 provincial-level first-class undergraduate major construction points in Shandong, 8 high-level applied key majors (groups) in Shandong, and 2 industrial projects for the integration of new and old driving forces in Shandong's education services.

It is reported that the Professional Ranking of Chinese Universities in Soft Science is the largest undergraduate professional ranking in China, covering the largest number of majors and participating in the largest scale of majors. In 2023, a total of 787 majors were released, involving 93 professional categories and 12 professional disciplines. The ranking targets a total of 598 majors with no less than 4 schools. Each major category publishes the top 50% of universities, with a total of 30772 major points from 1076 universities on the list.
