Wednesday, February 15, 2017, the Higher Education Work Committee of Shandong Provincial Party Committee announces the first batch of the Social Practice Bases for Shandong College Teachers of Ideological and Political Theories. The School of Marxism Studies of QFNU is included in the list as the Social Practice Base for Shandong College Teachers of Ideological and Political Theories on Chinese Excellent Traditional Cultures.
The QFNU base is intended to promote the long-term and institutionalized social practice activities of the Shandong college teachers of ideological and political theories, with its main tasks covering related researches, social investigations, special studies, decision-making consultation, social practice resources development, specialized talent cultivation, and social services.
QFNU, relying on the local unique historical and cultural resources, has a history of more than 60 years in the hometown of Confucius and the characteristics and advantages of the outstanding traditional cultures. In recent years, the School of Marxism Studies has made active exploration and achieved gratifying achievements in integrating the traditional cultures into the teaching of ideological and political theories, completed the MOE's Excellent Teaching Plan permeated with the Confucian culture, undertaken the provincial key subject of Ideological and Political Theory Teaching Reform in Colleges, and caused a greater response and concern in the field of ideological and political theory teaching in Shandong Province. The QFNU base is not only a high-level platform to train the teachers of ideological and political theories in Shandong Province, but also a window to display the QFNU image.
