Wednesday, February 15, 2017, New Brunswick - CBC French Channel reporter visited QFNU-supported Park Street Elementary School of Confucius Institute in New Brunswick, Canada, to report the teaching of Chinese language and culture in the school.

The CBC reporter, accompanied by Ms. Jing Teng, Chinese Dean of Confucius Institute, watched the Chinese folk dance performed by the children of the Dance Club and had a Chinese class with the students. The students showed a great interest in learning Chinese language.

It is reported that Chinese language and culture have been taught in Park Street Elementary School for six years. In addition to Chinese language class, Chinese Language Club and Chinese Dance Club, the school started the class of Chinese martial arts culture and founded the Martial Arts Club in February, 2017, to promote the traditional Chinese martial arts culture.
