The leaders in-depth into the classroom to listen to the first class

On the morning of September 3, the first day of our school’s new semester, the leaders, involving Qi Wanxue, Zhang Honghai, Ma Shanjun, Hu Qingxue, Wang Jisuo, Xia Yunjie, Fengchong, Xinjie, Ming Qinghe, early with the students into the classroom, listened to the first class.

Party secretary Qi Wanxue listened to the course of Basic Principles of Marxism. University president Zhang Honghai stepped into the lesson of Instrumental Analysis. And other leaders separately listened to such courses, like Traditional Chinese Painting Creation, Thermodynamics & Statistical Physics, Date structure, Treatment and Disposal of Solid Waste, Mathematics Analysis, Statistical Software, etc.

In class, the school leaders listened carefully and took notes all the time, and made a serious analysis of the class instructional situation; after class, school leaders had a friendly communication with the teachers and students, and put forward specific comments and suggestions on the continuous optimization of teaching and learning.

School leaders pointed out that classroom teaching focus on explaining clearly and thoroughly as well as enlightening thinking, which not only told the truth power of the content, but also reflected the logic power of teaching. The teachers should be good at improving the ways and methods of classroom teaching, as well as combining theoretical explanation with practical application and driving enthusiasm of learning with the passion of lectures.

School leaders stressed that 2018 is the year of classroom teaching quality. The whole school should thoroughly implement the spirit of the New Era National College Undergraduate Education Conference and adhere to people-oriented and teaching-centered position. Moreover, to further strengthen the construction of “Double First-class” in undergraduate teaching and highlight the characteristics and advantages of talent cultivation, the whole school should also insist on the quality of the classroom, explore classroom teaching reform, build an innovation teaching team.
