October 11-12, the vice president Katharine Caruso of Lone Star College of America came to visit our school and made conversations with the vice presidents Hu Qingxue and Xin Jie respectively. The two parties hold the conversational conferences, involving the chief representatives of colleges, so as to further strengthen mutual relations.

In the conferences, leaders of our school extended a very warm welcome to all of them. The leaders briefly introduced some information of our school on development, faculty，discipline construction and undergraduate education, moreover spoke highly of the Lone Star College's school-running patterns and achievements. Leaders of our school thought that the two schools owned excellent cooperation basis and consensus in educational philosophy, as well as hoping that both of us further advanced exchange on the training of teachers, the cultivation of students, the model of teaching and teaching experience etc to promote mutual visits between teachers and students, to expand the scope of cooperation and constantly to raise the level of cooperation.

Professor Caruso thanked our school for our endeavors and contributions to joint cooperation. She made a brief introduction to the development of Lone Star College and shared international experience on school running. She hoped that both sides could enhance contact in exchanges of students and teachers and carried out dialogues based on cooperation in history, culture and education in the future so as to shared information resources and realized win-win cooperation.

During the conferences, both sides exchanged in-depth views on issues related to inter-school exchanges, cooperation of disciplines and construction of practice base.
