From January 7th to 12th, The 7th Educators’ Delegation of 11 members of the Confucius Institute at Anton National University visited our university. Xin Jie, Vice President of QFNU, met with the guests and the relevant department directors such as the Director of International Office attended the meeting.
Xin pointed out that Qufu and Anton, as the Confucian centers of the two countries, playing a great role in the development of Confucian culture. The colleague of Anton University had made an outstanding contribution to the operation of the Confucius Institute, the promotion of Chinese language education and the spreading of traditional Chinese culture. Xin also hoped that all colleagues of Anton University will continue to support the development of the Confucius Institute, in order to create more opportunities for exchanges and cooperation between China and Korea.
Song Huaner, Dean of the Confucius Institute at Anton University, expressed her gratitude for the warm reception and careful arrangement. Song said that the Confucius Institute at Anton National University would continue to cooperate with Qufu Normal University so as to promote bilateral exchanges and cooperation in various fields.
During this visit, QFNU arranged traditional Confucian culture lectures, talks between teachers and students, local middle school visits, so that the delegation had a more intuitive understanding of Confucian culture and a deeper understanding of China's education system. In addition, through a series of activities such as visiting the Confucian cultural heritage, experiencing traditional Chinese medicine projects, and visiting China Teachers' Museum, the delegation gained a comprehensive understanding of the extensive and profound Chinese culture.
The Educators’ Delegation from the Confucius Institute at Anton University visit QFNU once a year, which has built a platform for the educators to communicate and cooperate, as well as promoted the popularizing of Chinese language education and the dissemination of Chinese traditional culture in South Korea.
