From March 4th to 8th, nine students studying at Confucius Institute in New Brunswick who are also Chinese enthusiasts from University of Moncton, led by a Chinese teacher Dai Zunfeng, paid a visit to our university. Mr. Xin Jie, Vice President of QFNU, held a welcome dinner for the delegation.

    Our school carefully arranged for the delegation a series of courses such as Chinese language, calligraphy, Taiji and folk music, as well as a rich variety of activities including on-site teaching in Confucius Family Mansion, Temple and Cemetery, a visit to China Teacher Museum, appreciation of seal carving art and experience of traditional Chinese medicine. Through lively activities and interactive experience, our guests could experience the incredible charm of Chinese language and Chinese traditional culture. In addition, our school also organized delegates to enter the classrooms of College of Chinese Language and Literature and College of Foreign Languages to interact with our students, which deepened the understanding and mutual trust of the youth between China and Canada and established profound friendship.

    At the farewell banquet, Canadian delegates expressed their gratitude, reluctance to part and wishes to come to China again. Ai Lei, a member of the delegation, said that he was deeply attracted by Chinese traditional culture and long history, and was impressed by the profound cultural heritage of Qufu Normal University. He hoped that he would come to Qufu Normal University for exchange and study in the near future.
