On November 5, the principal Zhang Honghai led a team to Beijing Normal University, and held discussions with leaders of Beijing Normal University on topics such as undergraduate training, teacher education reform, and exchange and cooperation between the two universities. Cheng Jianping, secretary of the Party Committee of Beijing Normal University, and Li Xiaobing, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, met with Zhang Honghai and others. Cheng Jianping welcomed Zhang Honghai and others on behalf of Beijing Normal University. He briefly introduced the situation of the university's comprehensive reform in recent years, and affirmed and appreciated the quality and characteristics of talent training in Qufu Normal University. He said that both universities are normal universities and carry the sacred mission of cultivating "good teachers with Four Have" for the country. He hoped that the two universities will work together to deepen cooperation, collaborate and innovate, and jointly write a new chapter in the reform and development of teacher education in the new era.
Zhang Honghai thanked Beijing Normal University for its support and help. He said that for many years, the two universities have maintained good communication and exchanges, especially when Vice President Xin Jie took office at Beijing Normal University, exchanges and cooperation in various fields have deepened, and the friendship between the two universities has become stronger. He pointed out that Beijing Normal University, as the leader of national normal education and a national "double first-class" key construction university, has outstanding advantages in personnel training, discipline construction, and scientific research.
