Recently, the Office of Philosophy and Social Sciences of Shandong Province announced the approval results of 2020 social sciences planning projects. QFNU applied for 54 projects, and 26 projects have been approved, with the number of projects increased by 7 compared with last year. Among them, there are 1 key project, 21 general projects, 4 youth projects, and the total number of projects rank the third among provincial universities.

In 2020, the approved projects covered many subjects and distributed widely in colleges. 26 approved projects involved literature, history, philosophy, management, linguistics, journalism and communication, education, library, information and documentation, sports, international problem research, art and many other disciplines and fields. The projects were distributed in 19 institutes, scientific research institutions and teaching auxiliary institutions.

The social sciences planning projects of Shandong Province are reviewed twice a year. In the first half of the year, all kinds of special research projects are reviewed, usually unlimited. In the second half of the year, the annual projects are reviewed, and the limited application is implemented. It is reported that this year, the evaluation procedures of social sciences planning projects in Shandong Province are more standardized and strict, with two links of communication evaluation in other provinces and meeting evaluation.
