Recently, the Ministry of Education has released the result of examination and approval of professional undergraduate majors of universities in 2020. QFNU has been approved three majors, that is, International Economy and Trade, Ecology, and Cyberspace Security.  International Economy and Trade, and Ecology are approved as registered undergraduate majors, and Cyberspace Security as approved undergraduate major.

In recent years, the undergraduate education and majors’ development in QFNU have sticked to the national development strategy and the economic and social development in Shandong province. They are also closely related to the developmental goals and characteristics of QFNU, focusing on the “four new” majors. Qufu Normal University actively assigns majors which are advancing and inter-disciplined, actively promotes the construction of new emerging subjects like engineering course and liberal arts. Thus, the structure of majors in QFNU is optimized, professional construction level is enhanced, and the characteristics and development direction are highlighted. The improving training quality and service ability of QFNU make contributions to building the first-class university in Confucius’s hometown.
