Recently, after an in-depth and detailed communication with Qufu Normal University, Tin Ka Ping foundation has set up “Tin Ka Ping scholarship for excellent normal students” among the normal undergraduate students in QFNU, with the first term of three years.

The scholarship is mainly used to commend the full-time fourth year normal undergraduate students of QFNU who are excellent in both character and learning, outstanding in teaching skills, love Chinese culture, are determined to devote themselves to basic education, and have been accepted by primary and secondary schools, special schools and other schools before September 30 of the year. Each year, the total amount of scholarship is 200,000 yuan, and the number of awards is about 50. Among them, there are 8 first prize winners with 10,000 yuan per person, 12 second prize winners with 5000 yuan per person, and 30 third prize winners with 2000 yuan per person.

The establishment of “Tin Ka Ping Scholarship for Excellent Normal Students” plays a positive role in strengthening the exchanges and cooperation between the two sides, as well as encouraging excellent students of QFNU to love teaching profession, and contribute knowledge and strength to the cause of basic education in our country.

The Tin Ka Ping Foundation has always had good cooperation and exchanges with our school. In 2007, it donated HK$3 million for the construction of the school’s experimental center. In 2019, it donated RMB 5 million to support the construction of the Chinese Teachers Museum and the research of moral education in QFNU.
