On the afternoon of March 11th, Qufu Normal University held the 2021 annual work conference. Qi Wanxue, Secretary of the Party Committee of QFNU, chaired the conference and made a speech. Zhang Honghai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of QFNU, arranged the major work in 2021. Members of the Party Committee, deans of colleges, and principal members in charge of departments and units attended the conference.

The conference centered around the new journey and new development, deeply analyzing the challenges and opportunities which the school career development is faced with. Besides, the conference also makes a comprehensive deployment on the goals and measures of reform, aimed to speed up the construction of high-level university in Confucius’s hometown.

Keep the backbone in mind, clear major tone. At the conference, Qi Wanxue praised the achievements of QFNU in 2020. He pointed out that over the past year, QFNU has seen strong leadership of the Communist Party of China, its solid and effective Party building, and comprehensive development of its governance. Teachers and students united as a whole, and gathered strong confidence to face various undertakings.

Focus on inspections and rectification, address symptoms and root causes. Qi Wanxue made a deployment on the conference to promote the provincial inspection feedback and rectification implementation.

Do not forget the way and stick to it firmly. Qi wanxue made an in-depth analysis on strengthening the confidence and determination of high-quality development, deepening reforms and achieving breakthroughs.

Be the “vanguard” of getting things done. Qi Wanxue made a deployment to enhancing capacity, improving work style, and paying attention to the implementation. He stressed that achieving new breakthroughs in high-quality school development depended on implementation.

Make the outline, emphasize the key points. Zhang Honghai reviewed the university’s career development in 2020. Zhang Honghai pointed out that 2021 was the centenary birthday of the Communist Party of China, it was also the historical conference point of the “two centenary goals”, and the important year for Qufu Normal University to implement the development plan and promote higher quality development from a new starting point. Zhang Honghai stressed that, standing at a new starting point, facing new challenges and realizing new development, let us greet the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party with outstanding achievements under the strong leadership of QFNU Party Committee.
