To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, teachers and students of Qufu Normal University performed the drama “Chu Xin”(to keep the original aspiration) on the evening of April 28. Qi Wanxue, Secretary of the Party committee, Hu Qingxue, deputy secretary of the Party committee, Xu Sisheng, member of the Standing Committee of the Party committee and Secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection, and Zhang Longhai, member of the Standing Committee of the Party committee, attended the performance with nearly 1000 teachers and students. The performance is sponsored by the school CCYL committee and the college of arts, and co-organized by the Chinese drama club and the Confucius drama committee.

The drama “Chu Xin” is divided into five acts and depicts the glorious deeds of the Communists. The whole drama has a profound concept and a vivid form, and the affectionate performance won rounds of applause on the spot. In particular, the innovative design of martyrs and heroes crossing time and space on the stage to encourage the younger generation to take on the task of national rejuvenation in the era has a strong on-site appeal. What’s more, this performance renewed the form of learning the party history, played an important role in ideological and political education and at the same time, guided young students to strengthen their patriotism, serve the country, and follow the party with firm conviction.

After the performance, the leaders of the school party committee came on stage and had a cordial exchange with the teachers and students who participated in the rehearsal. They congratulated on the success of the performance and expressed gratitude for everyone’s efforts.
