The 17th “Challenge Cup”, also called the National College Students Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition, was held on May 16th. The work “Red Mark”, which was showed by the Law School of Qufu Normal University, won the first prize. Sponsored by the Central Committee of the Youth League, China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the All-China Students’ Federation and the People’s Government of Sichuan Province, more than 17,000 works participated in the national competition. After fierce competition, 106 teams from 75 universities were shortlisted for the final.
“Red mark” project was guided by Lu Ruixia, Xie Yanlin and Zheng Fengxia from the law school. Since 2018, the project was divided into three stages, “listening comprehension”, “concise sublimation”, and “practice”. More than 287 young students participated in this project, and more than 100 members of the Communist Party of China were interviewed. After searching 110 red relics, two volumes of recorded materials with a total of about 360,000 words were finally formed, which have become the primary data for the study and education of the Communist Party’s history in the Law School. The practical activity plays a good role in promoting the inheritance and development of Yimeng Red Spirit in the new era, and it is also an important exploration to lead college students to firm their ideals and beliefs with red culture.
