From September 10 to 12, Qufu Normal University welcomed more than 8000 undergraduates and more than 2000 postgraduates of 2021 year. In order to warmly welcome new members to join the Quyuan family, QFNU worked hand in hand and opened the "first page" of the university chapter for 2021’s new students with warm, thoughtful and colorful services.

In the orientation work, QFNU insisted on taking students as the center, optimizing the process, refining the service and strengthening the guarantee, so as to ensure the convenience and smoothness of freshmen's enrollment. QFNU insisted on taking the first welcome station ahead of the service, setting up welcome service stations in bus stations, railway stations, high-speed railway stations and airports, and organizing special personnel to pick up ; At the same time, the two campuses were equipped with campus shuttle buses to help get through the "last kilometer" of freshmen from the check-in point to the dormitory park. In addition, in view of the normalization of the epidemic prevention and control measures, the parents were required to stop at the school gate, and QFNU had specially set up a rest area nearby to alleviate the fatigue of parents.

Everything was guided in the check-in process and accompanied by "one-on-one" in the whole process ... The attentive and considerate services made QFNU full of warmth everywhere and nourished the freshmen's sense of belonging and love for QFNU. The life service center of QFNU carried forward the glorious tradition and spontaneously organized a party member service team to transport large luggage for freshmen. The College of Arts created a birthday flash for freshmen whose birthday coincided with the admission day , so that students who left home can really feel the warmth of QFNU. The Law School prepared cotton swabs, band aids, masks, etc. for freshmen in advance, so as to pay close attention to their health.

Small surprises carried the beautiful wishes.

This year, the "first gift of QFNU" jointly launched by the school enrollment office and the Calligraphy College, was particularly attractive at the orientation site. Freshmen can receive a calligraphy work "specially provided" by the professional teachers of the Calligraphy College on the spot. Messages containing the wisdom of Chinese excellent traditional culture, such as "aspiring to the Tao, according to morality, relying on benevolence and traveling in art", carried the teachers' good expectations for the growth and success of freshmen.

Also highlighting the characteristics of traditional culture education of Confucius' hometown university is the Institute of History and Culture. The first day of the new year coincided with the Teachers' Day. The students of the traditional etiquette research center specially performed the important ceremony of opening the academy and respecting teachers in China's traditional culture at the Confucius Culture Square.

In addition, the School of Cyberspace Security presented all freshmen with a customized learning log to help them make an academic planning as soon as they entered QFNU. The School of Mathematical Sciences continued the tradition to organize the senior students to send "a letter to freshmen" to express the blessing and encouragement of youth pursuing dreams... The gifts carefully  prepared by each college had small items but beautiful meanings, diverse forms but consistent connotation, all of which highlighted the pursuit and care of establishing morality and cultivating students in QFNU.
