On September 14 and 15, Qufu Normal University held the opening ceremony of 2021-2022 academic year and the military training mobilization meeting in the two campuses. Qi Wanxue, Zhang Honghai, Hu Qingxue, Xia Yunjie, Feng Chong, Xu Sisheng, Hu qinxiao, Lu Guoqiang, Li Zhaoxiang, Qu Yuekuan, Guo Qingbing and Zhang Longhai, members of the leading group of the Party committee of QFNU, and Zhang Yuzhong, member of the Standing Committee of Shandong Provincial People's Congress, attended the meeting. Responsible comrades of all departments and units of QFNU and representatives of teachers and students of all colleges attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Qi Wanxue, Secretary of the Party committee, presented the flag to the military training brigade in Qufu campus. President Zhang Honghai delivered a speech at the two campuses and sent a message to the new students to strive to write their own wonderful picture of school life. Hu Qingxue, Deputy Secretary of the Party committee, presented the flag to the military training brigade in Rizhao campus. Xia Yunjie and Lu Guoqiang, members of the Standing Committee of the Party committee and Vice Presidents, presided over the ceremony at the two campuses respectively.

Before the ceremony, the college student art troupe of QFNU brought wonderful performances. The students held bright five-star red flags and cultivated the patriotism in their magnificent songs.

At the beginning of the ceremony, a solemn flag raising ceremony was held, and all teachers and students sang the national anthem. Then, President Zhang Honghai made a speech at the ceremony, expressing the warmest welcome and heartfelt congratulations on the arrival of new students of Grade 2021 on behalf of the teachers, students and staff of QFNU, encouraged the students to strive to write their own wonderful pictures of school life, and put forward three hopes to all the students.

Professor Cao Li and Professor He Shanfeng on behalf of teachers sent a message to the new students to embrace Confucianism and the charm of the sea, inherit the spirit of Quyuan, and live up to their youth and forge ahead. The student representatives read out the youth oath of Quyuan students, sharing experiences and dreams on how to spend college days better.

The ceremony set up an honor recognition link. Hu qinxiao, member of the Standing Committee of the Party committee and Vice President, read out the list of teachers who won honors at or above the provincial level from 2020 to 2021. Li Zhaoxiang and Qu Yuekuan, members of the Standing Committee of the Party committee and Vice Presidents, respectively read out the list of students who won honors at or above the provincial level from 2020 to 2021 in the two campuses.

In the queue performance, the students were brave and vigorous, held their heads high and walked firmly in high spirits, showing the high  spirit of QFNU students.

At the end of the ceremony, all teachers and students sang the school song. The freshmen realized the lofty aspirations of Quyuan students and started a new journey full of hope.
