According to the unified deployment of the teacher work department of the Ministry of Education, on August 16, the national demonstration class for the study of teachers' ethics and style of primary and secondary school leaders opened in Qufu Normal University. More than 100 party organization secretaries and principals from primary and secondary schools across China participated in the class. Chen Wu, the second level inspector of the Teacher Work Department of the Ministry of Education, Sun Xiaoyun, the deputy director of the Shandong Provincial Department of Education, Zhang Guanlin, the cadre of the Teacher Management and Ethics Construction Department of the Teacher Work Department, Liu Yilin, the deputy director of the Teacher Work Department of the Shandong Provincial Department of Education, Zhang Honghai, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Qufu Normal University, Li Zhaoxiang, the member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President, and the person in charge of the Office of the National Teacher Ethics Education Base attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Li Zhaoxiang.

Before the ceremony, the participants watched the propaganda film of teachers’ ethics education--"the Muduo", which was planned and created by China Teachers' Museum. With creative production techniques and poetic lens language, the film showed the Enlightenment of Confucius and encouraged future generations to carry forward the traditional teacher's ethics.

Chen Wu made a mobilization speech on behalf of the Teacher Work Department. Zhang Honghai, on behalf of Qufu Normal University, extended a warm welcome to all members participating in the class.

Zhang Jie, the student representative of the class, the leader of the class and the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Affiliated High School of Tsinghua University, made a statement. She expressed her gratitude to the Teacher Work Department of the Ministry of Education for providing valuable training opportunities, and to Qufu Normal University, the hometown of Confucius, for meticulously organizing the training activities. She will cherish this learning opportunity, seriously study, learn from each other, and inject new impetus into the mission of building morality and cultivating students.

In witness of all the students, Chen Wu presented the flag for the seminar on behalf of the Teacher Work Department, and the class leader Zhang Jie solemnly took over the flag.

The seminar lasts for 5 days. It has carefully designed a diversified and three-dimensional training course system with "the way of teachers" as the training theme, heuristic and experiential as the training characteristics, including keynote reports, expert lectures, special research, group training, on-site teaching, case sharing, student forums, etc., so that the students can immerse themselves in the excellent traditional culture of China and constantly improve their professional ethics and style, strive to improve the quality of teaching and education and the level of running schools.
