On October 14th, Professor Philippe De Maeyer from Ghent University in Belgium led a delegation to visit and exchange ideas at Qufu Normal University. Zhang Honghai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President, met with the guests and held a symposium.

Zhang Honghai welcomed the delegation from Ghent University and introduced the educational characteristics and disciplinary advantages of Qufu Normal University. He hoped that the two universities could further deepen exchanges and cooperation on the basis of consolidating existing cooperation, and achieve more win-win results in talent cultivation, scientific research, and platform construction.

Professor Philippe De Maeyer appreciated the educational achievements of Qufu Normal University and congratulated on the successful holding of the first seminar of the third "China Partners" Academic Exchange Forum jointly organized by the two universities. He hoped that both sides could further engage in deeper exchanges and cooperation.

At the symposium, both sides had sufficient communication and exchange on the details of future cooperation, and signed a memorandum of cooperation, laying the foundation for further promoting cooperation in academic exchanges, teacher-student visits, platform construction, and other aspects between the two schools.
