Recently, the Education Department of Shandong Province announced the second batch of first-class textbooks for general higher education in Shandong Province. Four types of textbooks from Qufu Normal University were selected, including "Computer Control Technology" edited by Professor Cao Dianguo from the School of Engineering, "Nonlinear Optimization Theory and Methods (3rd Edition)" edited by Professor Wang Yiju from the School of Management, and "Introduction to Traditional Chinese Culture" edited by Associate Professor Zhang Hong from the School of Education and "Biology Teaching Theory (3rd Edition)" edited by Associate Professor Yan Yan from the School of Life Sciences.

The selection of first-class textbooks for general higher education in Shandong Province is organized by the Shandong Provincial Department of Education, and it is selected every two years, which is aimed to showcase the effectiveness of textbook construction in Shandong Province, especially since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, leading and driving the overall improvement of textbook quality, and attracting more outstanding talents to invest in textbook construction work.

In this first-class textbook selection, all four participating textbooks from Qufu Normal University have been selected, marking a new breakthrough in textbook construction for QFNU. QFNU will take this as an opportunity to remember its original mission of educating people for the Party and the country, continue to promote textbook construction in all aspects, increase support for textbook work, encourage teachers to write more high-quality textbooks, and fully leverage the functions and roles of textbooks in shaping the soul and cultivating talents, to further promote the construction of "first-class majors" in schools, create a first-class curriculum and textbook system, and solidly promote the high-quality development of textbook construction.
